About me

I'm Emmanuel, a software engineer passionate about building impactful solutions and solving complex problems. My work spans Earth observation, geospatial data, and applications in environmental monitoring, sustainable mobility, agriculture, energy, and humanitarian projects.

I have developed Earth observation pipelines to enhance food security, improved data accessibility in Africa for electrification planning through open data and collaborative mapping, contributed to a digital twin portal for water management, and built web applications that make AI more accessible for humanitarian use. My current technical interests include DevOps, algorithms, deep learning, big data quality, and data engineering.

I hold an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's degree in Geospatial Technologies, with a thesis on data quality assessment and enhancement for sustainable water management in IoT-enabled peacekeeping missions in collaboration with the UNGSC. I also earned a First-Class Bachelor's degree in Remote Sensing & Geoscience Information Systems, where I developed a geospatial methodology for landfill site identification using night-light satellite imagery.

Outside work, I enjoy physical activities like table tennis, football, gym workouts and listening to global news. I also stay updated on the latest geospatial research and enjoy watching conference proceedings, self improvement videos, and educational tutorials.
